NOTICE TO ALL MT. POCAHONTAS MEMBERS:
For the safety of all the Mt. Pocahontas Members and staff the clubhouse is closed indefinitely. After deliberation, evaluation and discussions with a licensed structural engineer the Board of Directors agreed that the cost in repairs to clubhouse will outweigh the value of a new clubhouse and pool facilities. A temporary office/work station will be located behind the existing clubhouse. With the mailing address and phone number remaining the same, the office “trailer” will be facing Old Stage Road aside of the tennis/basketball courts. Early next year the trailer will be available to all members of the association. Members may come there for all business matters, but we are requesting to call the office to schedule your arrival Monday thru Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm and Saturdays 8:00am to 12:00pm.
Due to future construction and safety concerns, we regret the pool and some recreational areas will be closed. We will maintain all Mt. Pocahontas roads and continue to assure safety within the development.
The Board asks for your patience and thanks you for your support as we go forward. We will continue updating the mtpocahontas.com website to inform everyone of the progress. To receive those updates, we recommend all members to sign-up on the website and click on subscribe now ( see bottom right side of home page ). If you have any concerns or questions, please submit an e-mail or letter to the Board at the above address. The Board of Directors are determined to rectify the situation and construct a new clubhouse/pool area for all good members to use in a timely manner.

When a property owner is on a Payment Plan they are considered a "Limited Member in Good Standing" and still may use all the amenities including the pool, as long as they remain up to date with their regular monthly payments. However they are not allowed to vote.
