The association received several inquiries from our members regarding the proxy forms they received in the mail along with the annual meeting notification. We would like to inform our members that a Homeowners' Association Proxy allows a homeowner to cast his/her vote in the event they can't make it to the annual homeowners' meeting. Assigning a proxy helps you maintain your interests and also helps the meeting itself move forward without worry over an absent member. When you can't be there, a Homeowners' Association Proxy helps get your voice heard. A proxy is authorized by Pennsylvania Planned Community Act and is commonly used by HOAs. Use the Homeowners' Association Proxy document if:
You want to vote at our annual homeowners' meeting, but can't be there.
You'd like to ensure the meeting makes quorum.
When you can't be there in person, a Homeowners' Association Proxy can let you vote.
