Effective Monday, April 13, 2026 at 12:00 AM, Penn Forest Township, Carbon County will be under a burn ban until further notice. Please help keep our community safe by complying. Even small fires can spread rapidly under current conditions. You can always contact the Carbon County Communication Center at 570-325-9111 to verify if a burn ban is in effect.

The deadline for submitting a Board of Directors Candidate Form is May 11, 2026. The Mt. Pocahontas Property Owners Association is now accepting candidates for the upcoming Board of Directors election
